This is your guide to planning a trip to the United States. I’ve been to America many times over the years, and have found that there are some things you should know before you go. You don’t need to memorize this entire guide by any means, but it will help if you’re planning an extended stay or multiple trips.
These are the things you need to bring for your trip in order to make it a success.
- Travel light. This means bringing as few things as possible, but making sure they’re high quality and useful.
- Bring a lot of clothes. The best way to keep your body cool while traveling is to have many layers, including an outer shell or jacket that can be worn over the top of other clothes if needed (e.g., if it’s cold outside). You may also want to bring some warmer layers in case you get caught in unexpected heat or humidity changes between day and night time temperatures (or vice versa).
- Bring a lot of toiletries—but not too many! If you’re going somewhere where there are no public restrooms nearby, be sure not only pack enough toilet paper but also make sure you have hand sanitizer available since these will likely be used more frequently than at home due to how dirty most public places are these days; even if there aren’t any restrooms nearby, I recommend bringing some sortable wipes instead so that people who may need them don’t feel left out because their hands were dirty when trying out something new like food from one restaurant compared with another one down town where everyone else seems happy eating whatever floats their boat today.”
Highly Recommended
- Bring a water bottle.
- Bring a book.
- Bring a blanket.
- Bring a hat or cap for the sun, rain, or cold weather (depending on where you’re going). You can also use this as an opportunity to wear some new clothes that you’ve never tried before! Or maybe not…that’s up to your discretion! The point is that whatever it is—you should bring it with you because they will be useful in case anything happens while out there exploring the world around us all day long…and night too…and every second of every minute until we die someday soon enough.”
Conclusion
Now that you’re armed with all the information in this post, it’s time to pack! Remember: packing is not just about bringing along “essentials”–it’s also important to think about what you want your trip to be like so that each item can contribute toward fulfilling those goals.
