It’s not clear why a fox from the planet Sonic calls home should be an ally for a character from the planet Earth. And the arc works better in concept than in execution. The best part is that Tails is pure innocence.
The wedding subplot also serves little purpose. It feels like it was added because it needed to be two hours long.
The Rachel subplot is more bonkers than anything else. The golf-cart-crashing-to-the-stage scene is ridiculous. It’s also just plain funny. It’s the kind of thing Rothwell seems to relish. The wedding sequence eventually converges with Sonic and Tails, but that’s not the main purpose of the subplot.
Release date
Among the many things fans are looking forward to, one of the most anticipated is the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Fans have been waiting for a second installment for quite some time.
